LarryJordanisanindependentfilmmakerwhohasbeenworkingintheBayAreainCaliforniasince1955,andmakingfilmssince1952.Hehasproducedsome40experimentalandanimationfilms,andthreefeature-lengthdramaticfilms.Heismostwidelyknownforhisanimatedcollagefilms.In1970hereceivedaGuggenheimFellowship[1]tomakeSacredArtofTibet.HisanimationhasshownbyinvitationattheCannesFilmFestival.JordanisoneofthefoundingdirectorsofCanyonCinemaCooperative.Hehasshownfilmsandlecturedthroughoutthecountry.HeispresentlychairmanofthefilmdepartmentattheSanFranciscoArtInstitute.
