SethBreedloveisanOhiofilmmaker.Hehaswritten,edited,producedanddirectedshortsandfeaturesaboutavarietyoftopicsbutisbestknownforhisproductioncompanyandthefilmsthey'veproducedundertheSmallTownMonstersbanner.Beforefilm,Breedlovewroteforanumberofwebsites,newspapersandmagazinesandlearnedsomeoftheskillsheemploysasadirectorwhileworkingasareporter.Breedlovehasalsoappearedonnumeroustelevisionandradioprograms.In2013,BreedlovebeganworkingontheconceptforaseriesentitledSmallTownMonsters.Ingeneral,hesetouttocapturetrueaccountsfromtinycommunitiesoftenforgottenbythelargermediaoutlets,andfromtheera(1960sand1970s)ofhighintensitymonsterencounters.ThesecryptidsightingsandstorieswereperfectforadocumentaryproductioncompanywithahistoryofworkingintheMidwest.SethBreedloveachievedhisgoalwithsterlingresults.Hewasabletodocumentcryptozoologybyinterviewingtheoriginalwitnessesandre-creating/re-discoveringelementsofthecasesatthegroundlevel.Thefirstchapterinhisseriesofdocumentarieswasthefilm,MinervaMonster(2015).Breedlovewroteanddirectedthefilm.HehassinceworkedonmoreprojectswhichfallundertheSmallTownMonstersumbrellaincluding,BeastofWhitehall(2016),onwhichhealsoactedascinematographer.In2016,Breedlovedirectedandeditedhisfirstfull-lengthfeature,BoggyCreekMonster(2016),workingcloselywithinvestigatorandauthorLyleBlackburn.ThiswasrapidlyfollowedbyTheMothmanofPointPleasant(2017),andInvasiononChestnutRidge(2017),TheFlatwoodsMonster:ALegacyofFear(2018),TheBrayRoadBeast(2018),TerrorintheSkies(2019)andMOMO:TheMissouriMonster(2019).
