YaelGrobglasisanIsraeliactress,basedinTelAvivandLosAngeles.ShewasborninParis,France,toaFrenchfatherandanAustrianmother.Whenshewasthree,herfamilymadeAliyahandsettledinRaanana,Israel,wherehertalentandpassionforperformingartsbecamevisibleatanearlyage.Asateenager,Yaelstudieddifferentstylesofdanceandperformedinaprofessionaldancegroup.ShehadabriefmodelingcareerwithEliteModelingagency,butquicklytransitionedtopursueactingashertruepassion.ShewascastforaleadroleintheIsraeliTVseries"Ha'Yi"(theIsland),whichmadeherpopularamongIsrael'syoungeraudiences.Havingdonetwoconsecutiveseasonsoftheshow,Yaelenrolledinathree-yearactingprogramattheYoramLoewensteinPerformingArtsStudio.Duringherstudies,YaelcompletedanadditionalseasonofHa'Yi,andwascastforanumberofmajorcommercials.HercareerevolvedwithleadingrolesinthecriticallyacclaimedIsraelihorrorfilm"Kalevet"(Rabies-Featuredatthe2011TribecaFilmFestival),thesitcom"Ha-Shualim"(theFoxes),Dramamini-series"Yehefim"(Barefoot)andtheinthepopularshow"Tanuchi"(Chill).InIsrael,Yaelisalsoknownforhertheaterroles,andanumberofappearancesinmajorIsraelitelevisionshows.In2012shestarredinaninteractivemusicvideobytheUSrockband"WetheKings".YaellandedherfirstHollywoodroleasAmericaSinger,theleadintheCW's2013pilot"TheSelection",whichdidnotgetpickeduptoseries.Thesameyear,sheappearedinsevenepisodesontheCW's"Reign"asOliviaD'Amencourt.In2014,YaelbecameoneofthemainstarsontheCW's"JanetheVirgin",playingPetraSolano,theshow'sresourcefulandmischievousvillain.
