CatherineTate(bornCatherineFord;12May1968)isanEnglishcomedian,actress,andwriter.ShehaswonnumerousawardsforherworkonthesketchcomedyseriesTheCatherineTateShowaswellasbeingnominatedforanInternationalEmmyAwardandsevenBAFTA.FollowingthesuccessofTheCatherineTateShow,TateplayedDonnaNobleinthe2006ChristmasspecialofDoctorWhoandlaterreprisedherrole,becomingtheTenthDoctor'sregularcompanionforthefourthseriesin2008.[1]In2011,shebeganarecurringroleasNellieBertramintheU.S.versionofTheOfficeandwasaregularuntiltheseriesended.[2]ShenowprovidesthevoiceofMagicaDeSpellinthe2017rebootofDisney'sDuckTalesanimatedseries.
